Painted pebbles really are as simple as they sound: find some pebbles and paint them. Although the principle is simple, the possibilities are endless. The Bear is almost at pre-school age (starts in September….eeek!) and we’re currently working on the alphabet. More specifically her name so she can spell and recognise it when the time comes to going to school. Therefore, I wanted to decorate some stones so we could start working on that.
I’m very lucky that both my children love stories. We have a playroom, a living room and two bedrooms overflowing with books and (as a reader myself) I could not be more proud. One thing we do indulge in without much restriction is books. They both have their favourites and they love nothing more than sitting down and reading through them. Something we do daily. The weather has turned and it’s been pretty miserable so we’ve been spending much more time indoors over the past week or two. Unfortunately though this means that with a baby and a toddler, things can start to become a little volatile so we’ve been keeping busy which last week included making our very own fridge magnets!! Super quick and easy to do, these are relatively mess free so great for any parents that have an aversion to messy play!!
