This is something I saw quite a lot of last year, so I thought I would sit down and have a little think about what I want to achieve this year. Less about resolutions and more about what I want to work on to make 2019 a great year. This is what I came up with. Some are new but some are the things I want to keep doing too:
Some of you may have noticed that this update has moved from weekly, to monthly. Mainly because not much really changes for this pair of Bears in a week. Therefore, from now onwards this will be a monthly updated, detailing exactly where my Bears are right now in their lives. These are the posts which I love looking back on a year or two after they’ve happened and reading about where they were and realising how much they have changed in such a short space of time.
Welcome to a new little indulgence of mine here on my little corner of the internet. You may have noticed that Sundays have become all about our family life. The things I’ve read on the first Sunday of the month, the adventures we’ve been on the next, the things I’m loving to follow that and then I’ll be finishing the month with what the Bears have been up to. In short, it’s the place that I keep this blog true to its original creation: the place to the little moment that make our life extraordinary. It’s these little moments that I will be looking back on when I’m old and grey!
Up today it’s looking back on October and the adventures we’ve had as a family. It’s a good place for inspiration for places to visit and things to do, as well as a chance to have a good nosy as what we’ve been up to!
First the mist came, then the winds, and then the rain. After days and days indoors, it’s been wonderful to get outside. This weeks Bear Portraits pictures are from an afternoon at Chirk Castle. Den building and muddy puddles: the best way to blow off the cobwebs!
How is it already week 40?! That means that there is only 12 weeks left to the year, 2018 just seemed to be speeding past. This week has been another quieter one. Now that the Bear is in school, we tend to spend our weekday afternoons in the house playing, crafting or just chilling out depending on how tired she is. We did manage to head out for a wonderful autumn walk on Saturday though, which is where this weeks Bear Portrait pictures were taken.
