It’s been a great week this week. We’ve had a family day out to RAF Cosford (more on that in a seperate post) we’ve also had a date day for lunch and the cinema, an Easter Egg hunt, family walks in the wood and to top it all it’s been my birthday to accompany all that chocolate being scoffed. Here’s some of my favourite pictures from the week:
On to my LittleLoves for last week.
I’ve finally finished Accidental Damage by Alice May (read my review here) and I have to say I liked it. I’ve since moved onto Animal Farm by George Orwell as my 2017 Reading Challenge ‘book I should have read in school’. I’m about 40% of the way through and can already see where it’s going and unfortunately it’s in our nature I think. Absolute power corrupts absolutely and all that jazz….
I’ve finally watched Beauty and the Beast! We had a date day on Thursday and seeing as there wasn’t much else on, hubby took one for the team and indulged me. I really liked it! Although A LOT of singing I thought it was magical and the animation was stunning.
Not much else though. I’ve obviously been binge watched out this week but the hubby has been off work enjoying his final week of paternity leave so there’s not been much time for TV. That’s both a good and bad thing: good because it’s been lovely to spend the time as a family but bad as I usually binge watch in the background while I work which means not a lot of work has been done this week either!
So many giggles, it’s been lovely. Not much else though *note to self….must do better!*
It’s been a good week for #littlemakes this week as I made this amazing banana and chocolate loaf. So delicious but so very naughty on the waistline.
Dungarees! My maternity dungarees were my comfiest thing I owned so rather than getting rid, I did a little #littlemakes project and removed the maternity panels and coverted them back into normal ones. Still super comfy but now they fit again too!
I love my dungarees but unfortuantely after seeing some pics of me in them I’m not convinced that they love me. Therefore, I think it’s back off to Slimming World I go on Tuesday. I desperately don’t want to pay someone money to weigh me but I just don’t think I have the willpower to stick it alone. I think I need the shame and public accountability of a public weigh in to keep me on track!!
