I was a little spoilt for choice for this week’s Bear portraits as we’ve had a few adventures to choose from. The one’s I’ve gone with are from a day in the garden on Sunday where Papa Bear was working hard to build their new sandpit, I was working (albeit less hard) on potting the peas and radishes that Darcie and I are growing together, and both Bears were trying their best to ‘help’.
There isn’t much that this child likes more than water so give her a watering can and she’ll be happy for hours. When we stopped filling it for her (after feeling for the poor sodden plants which have had enough water recently) she got inventive by using the water from her mud kitchen. Here, she’s helping me by watering the seedlings that we just replanted. I’m hopeful that something grows and that we did not in fact immediately drown them after spending so much time putting them into their new homes!
After another wet week, this little man was just desperate to get outside and had the best time. He doesn’t need much as he just loves being outside and getting mucky. Once the choo choo sandpit started to take shape, he just couldn’t contain his excitement. The seat was sat on as soon as it was in place and there are no words to describe his excitement when the steering wheel was added. However, when the sand was added in, neither kid moved for the next 2 hours!
