Wow – what a week! We had the Llangollen Eisteddfod including watching the Manic Street Preachers and the Little Man turned one on Sunday. Now how did that happen?! I officially have 2 toddlers now and I’m not sure how I feel about it all!! We’ve also had trips to the park, play group, a BippityBoppityBoo class and fun playing at Grandma’s house.
Unfortunately though with the Little Man turning one, we’ve also had vaccinations this morning. Sadly that has made for a very grumpy bum to say the least, so we headed out to play group to give the Bear a little freedom out of the house for a few hours. So glad we did as she had a blast flower arranging!! I see calpol and cuddles in our future for the afternoon though. Anyway here’s our week in pictures:
I’m reading a pre-release at the moment which is a good solid romance and exactly what I’m in the mood for at the moment! Other than that I’ve been catching up on my favourite blogs this week which has been lovely. It’s been a while since I’ve sat and taken my time to read through a few but it’s been great.
Not quite watched in the traditional sense but I’m building up some mobile studio equipment and I’ve been watching my kids have fun in front of the camera as they helped me to test it all out (do you see what I did there?!). For someone who’s a little camera shy, it seems the Bear loves playing around in front of the lights!! Always good to know…..
The best news that not one but two of my good friends is pregnant. Such great news and means that I have 4 friends babies due toward the end of this year / beginning of next year. Newborn snuggles!!!!
Do the studio shots count for this too?? Unfortunately it’s been a bad week for makes this week as it’s been a little too busy to sit down and get much done! I best get knitting for all those winter babies though…..!
The hubby is away with work Sunday to Tuesday night next week and I confess I’m a little daunted about having the two monkey butt’s on my own for two nights – three if you count that he won’t get back until after bedtime. It wouldn’t be so bad but I have a feeling the grumpiness from these vaccinations will be hanging around us so plenty of distracting to be done!
