Living Arrows – 18/52
This weeks Living Arrows picture is one of my favourites from in the week. They spend so much time cuddling, but it’s still rare to get a shot with them both looking at the camera. They both have such beautiful blue eyes.
We had our first proper ouchy this week that lastest more than just a few minutes. Running through the park yesterday she went flying on gravel in a true clumsy style that she’s inherited from me. She’s got a whopper of a cluster of bruises on one knee and grazed knuckles on one hand – heaven forbid she let go of the lolly she was carrying! What’s giving her the most trouble though is the cuts to the palm of her other hand. There’s a few nasty grazes and one ouchy cut which is still really sore for her. Unfortunately though I think it will be the first of many bumps to come!
We FINALLY cut a second tooth this morning. One of his top front ones, though the second one is right there too pushing through so I don’t think it will be too far behind. He’s also sooooooo close to crawling! Up on all fours and doing that weird humping thing that babies do just before they launch themselves splat forward. He just needs to coordinate the arms and legs too and get moving. Maybe if he spent less time pulling himself up to stand and more time trying to craw he would have nailed it by now bless him rather than getting so frustrated!
