This weeks moment in time all about our little Bears and where they are right now, was taken on a very wet trip to see the snowdrops at Chirk Castle. We didn’t make it to the snowdrops, but we did have a wonderful time splashing in muddy puddles (thanks for that Peppa) and den building. They had the best time getting wet and muddy, just like kids should.
We’re struggling with the Bears behavior at the moment. Quick to anger, she’s lashing out with what she’s saying (“I don’t like you mummy, go live with another little girl”) and also doing (shoving her brother over if he comes within 2 meters of her toy, whether he wants it or not). I have no doubt it’s normal 3 year old stuff but wow, the moods can be whip lash!! We’re working on helping her to regulate get emotions but in the meantime she’s a walking contradiction. Quite, shy and so incredibly helpful and loving alongside a demon child with a temper to match the fiercest red head!
Luckily getting outside helps as the very best distraction so thank goodness the weather is starting to warm up!
This one just had the best time in puddles. Who knew you could have so much fun just running though puddles in the rain getting absolutely soaked?! His unreserved glee at anything like this really brings his sister out of her shell which I just love to see. Already so close, I just love seeing them together.
However, this one also has a temper on him so that’ll be interesting how that develops between to two of them over the coming months and years!
