The Bear and I love doing puzzles together, most commonly when the Little Man is napping and can’t drive her crazy by grabbing the pieces. The ones we have, we’ve had for quite a while now so she’s got a little too comfortable with them. For example she knows where all the pieces go automatically without having to really think about it. Therefore when the team from Hape got in contact to try out their George Luck Grasslands and Cat puzzles I was more than happy to give it a go and try something new together.
This weeks pictures chosen to represent and celebrate my childrens childhood were taken at a Truck Show over a very special weekend. The Bear turned 3 on Saturday and we celebrated with a little party with handful of friends and family on the day, and then a quieter family day out on Sunday. It was a perfect weekend for us and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
I originally planned to choose some pictures from the party to represent this week as that was the special day afterall, but when I looked back on the past 7 days, these are what really showed them best.
This was the Bears first time on the bumper cars. We weren’t sure how much she would enjoy it in practice when she said she wanted a go but wow, she loved it! She had a huge smile ear to ear the entire time and loved every moment. Especially when someome bumped them!
As you can tell from his grin, this little man was in his element at a truck show! Not the clearest of pictures but it shows just what a great time he was having looking at all the cars, bikes and trucks. Such a boys boy already, I think I have a future of cars and engines ahead of us….just like his daddy!
So apparantly today is Batman Day! Who knew?! I certainly didn’t until earlier this week but apparantly the tradition started 4 years ago when the man in the mask turned 75. So, he’s not looking too bad for an 79 year old is he?!
So, to get involved and and celebrate with him, we have been asked to review the new DC Super Friends Interactive Power Punch Batman. We thought Holy Smokes…..why not!
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that there are a team of pups down in Adventure Bay who basically save the day….well, on a daily basis. Or 10 times a day if you live in our house with a Paw Patrol obsessed almost 3 year old. And I mean OBSESSED. She loves them all – especially Skye and Chase – and has a mixed collection of little figures, medium teddies, and huge towels. Yep, our house could stock your local Toy’s R Us.
So needless to say when Ryder and the pups went on tour and made an appearance near us in Liverpool last month, we knew a certain little girl who would love every moment, and we weren’t wrong.
