Coffee & Wine: fueling the priorities with Vremi

19th October 2017

Unless you missed the hints throughout this entire blog, I am a mama who is pretty sleep deprived. This means that my days are fuelled with caffine and the evenings with wine….if I am ever awake long enough to enjoy it that is.  Enter Vremi.

Coffee & Wine - Vremi - pinable image

VREMI ESPRESSO MAKER

Caffine pretty much keeps me fuelled during the day. Unfortunately though it’s the instant kind as to be honest, getting time to boil the kettle seems a stretch some days let alone getting up a full coffee machine (which is currently collecting dust on top of our fridge by the way). Getting it out and setting it up for just one cup of coffee just isn’t going to happen.

This is why I was excited when we were sent over the Vremi Stovetop Espresso Maker. Although I don’t drink espresso, the idea is still the same though instead of making 6 cups of espresso this will make one extra big mug of americano – think a Starbucks sized mug. And do you know what?! Some days it’s just what’s needed!

Coffee & Wine - Vremi - pour a cup of coffee!

VREMI WINE PRESERVER

This is genius. My days of necking an entire bottle of wine are long gone, as is my ability to cope with the hangover the following morning. However, as any wine drinker will know, if you leave a bottle of wine open for too long then it will go bad and taste like….well, not great anyhow.

Enter the Vremi Wine Preserver and Vacuum Stopper Set. It works by placing one of the airtight stoppers into the bottle and using the pump to suck the air from the bottle. By doing so, it allows the wine to keep for an additional 7 – 10 days.

There are little numbers on the stopper which allows you to keep track of when you first opened it which is pretty handy if you have a memory like mine. Anything that allows my wine to last longer is a winner with me.

I really like espresso. I usually use K-cups but this seems like an interesting and different process!
