For this weeks Tried and Tested Tuesday, mama got a little treat! When the team from Nude Jewellery got in contact to ask me to pick something from their bespoke handmade jewellery range, I of course jumped at the chance.
Based in London and Surrey, the site is filled with contemporary jewellery. Although they specialise in unique and unusual engagement rings, there is a wide range of bespoke jewellery from which to choose from. After a lot of consideration – alongside a lot of back and forth where I changed my mind time and time again – I finally decided on the Vanilla Links Triple Link Silver Necklace.
First of all, the packaging was beautiful. It gave the impression that you were really getting a quality item. A luxury satin box to showcase Nude brand, it opens up to a more traditional gift box.
As for the necklace itself, I loved the contemporary design. The way each link is textured and reflects the light gives it a real modern feel. I was drawn to this one specifically as it reminded me of me (the big link) and my two little Bears (the two smaller ones if you didn’t get that already).
At 16″ long it sits at a good length on your collar bone which is the perfect length for us, as my children have a comfort habit of playing with a short necklace that I have worn since they were born which also sits at this length .
If it has one negative aspect then it’s unfortunately the silver snake chain. It seems to catch the hairs at the back of my neck from time to time. Therefore, I think I will probably swap this out once I find an equally beautiful alternative.
If you’re looking for something a little bit special then I couldn’t recommend Nude Jewellery enough. With contemporary designs and wide range of items available I am confident that you would be able to find something to suit any taste. With Christmas fast approaching, this would make a wonderful gift for one of the women in your life. I know that I already have my eye on one of their beautiful bespoke rings!
