What a week. We saw in the New Year and have managed to head out on some new adventures for three out of the five days of 2020 so far. Not bad at all! If this is a sign of what 2020 is going to look like, then I have a feeling that this year is going to be a great one.
This blog was always designed to be a way for me to record memories of my little family. Those little ordinary moments that make life extraordinary.
Somehow though, over the past few years of blogging, I seem to have lost sight of that. So this year I’m going back to basics and exploring what I want this space to be for me.
These two have loved being off school these holidays and have really embraced everything we’ve been up to with such as sense of adventure. Although he’s been a little homebody – wanting to spend a lot of time in the house – as soon as we are out and about, he has loved every moment.
She on the other hand, wakes asking what we will be doing each morning. So much so that she’s going to hate getting back into the routine of school on Tuesday! In fact, I am too.
It’s been an amazing week of friends, family and generally being outdoors and it’s something that I am incredibly grateful for. We live in the middle of some amazing countryside and I plan to take advantage of everything we have right on our doorstep this year.
