Ordinary Moments: a weekend away 4/52 (2020)

In life, if you’re lucky you find one or two good friends. If you’re really lucky then you manage to find a whole tribe.

When I started blogging all the way back in December 2016, I had no idea what I was doing. Within weeks though, I found myself in a Facebook group with a handful of bloggers. I thought I was networking and trying to understand the blogging pandora’s box I had just opened, but in fact what I was building the foundations to some friendships that have become incredibly important to me. Six months later we had transferred to What’s App, and we now speak most days.

This weekend these amazing women stepped out of my phone and we had a good old-fashioned meet up IRL! Don’t get me wrong, over the years a few of us have managed to be in the same place at the same time, arrange to meet up and or just rock up to same blogging conference. However, this is the first time so many of us have been in one place just hanging out.

Sadly, not everyone could make it, but those of us who did had an amazing time. Next time though, we will hopefully be a full quota!

This was my #OrdinaryMoment this week. What was yours?
