Living Arrows 14/52

Living Arrows 14/52

We had a lovely impromptu long weekend away this weekend as hubby has his final 2 weeks of paternity leave so we thought why not?! Now that Henry is a little older we are trying to get a little spontaneity back in our lives.

It paid off though as the weather was glorious and my parents even managed to come along with us with my brother who had a birthday yesterday, so celebrations all round! It was a busy day yesterday when we got home so hence why this living arrows post is a little late!

Her – She had a great weekend, the highlight being the amount of dancing she was doing!!  For such a shy girl she does love to dance. We had a few issues after some late nights due to tiredness and it really does go to show how much a 2 year old really needs her routine….even if she doesn’t want it!

Him – Although no closer to crawling, someone is now standing and has the proudest little face on him when he does it. Too strong by far for a little 8 month old, he is certainly trying to jump ahead and run before he can even walk!

He had a wonderful weekend too though and between 5 adults, these two little ones were showered with so much love and attention – they deserve it though. However it’s now back home with a bump and straight back into routine for these little bears!!

  4. Sounds lovely. My eldest is 2.5 years old and we still have NO spontaneity back in our lives. As for routines. I agree. My kids go nuts when their routine gets messed up. This is a really sweet photo of them #livingarrows

  5. Aww, this is a lovely picture. It’s lovely to have a break away isn’t it, although my two usually benefit from getting back to their normal routine too. #LivingArrows
