It’s been an amazing week and therefore I am rather spoilt for Bear portrait options. First of all, me my mum and the Bears had an amazing week away at Bluestone in South Wales. Four fabulous days of fun, sun and relaxation….lush!!
Then this weekend we’ve needed some serious Daddy and Bear time seeing as we’ve missed him as much as he missed us this week. Therefore, on Sunday for Father’s Day, we headed out to the Vintage Show at Oswestry showground. All things vintage in the automotive world from military to motorbikes, from cars to trucks. Needless to say, I have two happy boys by the end of the afternoon.
The Bear had her first ever ride on a horse this weekend. She’s been obsessed by horses for a few months now – thanks for that My Little Pony! – and this weekend it was her first up close encounter with a real pony. The entire experience was made all the better by the fact her horse was called Princess. She loved it and had a great time. Even if her face didn’t quite convey that fact!
It is such a stereotype, but this boy just loves an engine. A day filled with cars, tractors, trucks and trains – he was in his absolute element. The only thing that tainted it for him was that he wasn’t allowed to climb on any of them and ‘drive’. His particular favourite was this Isetta, a blue one that he claimed for himself and a pick on beside it covered in flowers which was apparently Darcie’s.
