Can you believe that there are only 10 weeks left to the year??
This weeks pictures to represent my children and where they are right now were taken while out and about enjoying an Autumn walk around a local mere. They had a great time racing to trees and kicking leaves. I love this picture of the two of them as it proves that they actually do love each other, even if it does seem deep down sometimes.
Living Arrows – 42 / 52
This one has been a complete contrast this week. A delight one moment and then shoving her brother across the room in the next breath. She can be a loving angel and then turn into a demon at the drop of a hat. I’ve taken to Dr. Google who assures me this is completely normal 3 year old behaviour, but wow. I’m getting whiplash from how quickly her moods change! She’s just lucky she’s cute though, as she’s still utterly adorable and such a clever little Bear. Her cheeky manner and constant chatter more than makes up for it.
This little man had his first taste of the naughty step this week for first pulling the Bo’s tail and then dragging him off a chair not once, but twice. Each time he was told firmly “no” and why, but the third time resulted in the step. Not for long, just completely taken away from the situation and reaffirmed “no” as distraction just wasn’t cutting it! He immediately got up, but that’s not the point. It’s just setting the foundation of actions and consiquences. He treated me to a cheeky smile not dissimilar to this one when he came back in, along with a kiss and a “BoBo” so he knew exactly what he did wrong – little monkey.
Darcie came to the rescue though and assured me that she was a doctor and could make Bo better with a kiss.
