Battle Heads – the new collectable
AD | review – a cute new collectable with a battle element to it? I know two little people who would definitely be interested in taking a closer look which is why I had two VERY excited kids when the new Battle Head range arrived to take a closer look at. Here’s what we thought.
WHAT ARE BATTLE HEADS?
Battle Heads are the new collectable on the market
There are 90 characters to collect from 5 different teams: Power Heroes, Sniper Bots, Smasher Beasts, Creepy Monsters and Aliens Attack. Hidden in the collection are the rare gold and silver Battle Heads. Build your team and when it’s time to battle, press the top of the Battle Heads to send their jaws flying at the enemy. The aim is to defeat the other team in order to survive.
When it’s over, you can start again by clicking the jaws back in the Battle Heads and they’ll be ready to compete again.
WHAT’S IN THE RANGE
Battle Heads S1 Blind Bag
Each blind bag packet includes a Battle Heads character and collectors guide.
Battle Heads S1 4 Pack
Each packet includes 4 Battle Head characters.
Battle Heads S1 Capsule
The Battle Heads capsule playset takes the play up to the next level. Open the capsule to reveal the surprise character inside and then use the capsules as strike zones.
Once the battle has ended, you can use the capsule to store the Battle Heads until next time.
WHAT WE THOUGHT ABOUT BATTLE HEADS
My two really loved Battle Heads. Not only where they are great, fun looking collectable – which they love – but they loved the interactive nature of them. Being able to build their teams and then battle it out in a capsule battle gave them hours of competitive fun. The boy in particular enjoyed double stacking them before shooting out their teeth. Whereas the Bear had a great time mix and matching their teeth to make up some new weird and wonderful characters.
What’s also quite nice is that they’re pretty small and easy to pack up and take away with us to keep the kids entertained in the caravan!
And if you kids REALLY can’t get enough, then they can check out the Battle Heads YouTube channel –
at www.youtube.com/@battleheadsukchannel where your little ones can watch the animated webisodes starring some of the fabulous Battle Heads character, both the good guys and the villains.
What’s nice is that the channel actually engages with the toys rather than just standing alone, as you can scan the QR code on each Battle Head to unlock Battle Heads webisodes.
The NEW collectible toy range Battle Heads is OUT NOW from Argos. Visit their website to find out more.
