Yoto cards for the whole family
AD | gifted – if you follow the blog then you know we are massive Yoto fans in this house. With Christmas right around the corner, its the perfect opportunity to pick some stocking fillers for both the little people and grown ups in our family.
For the Bear
The Bear is obsessed with all things magical at the moment and her love of cats is still going strong so the Upside Down Magic Pack is absolutely perfect for her. The series is from New York Times bestselling authors Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins and it follows nine year old Nory Horace and her magical misfit friends.
Filled with magic and friendship, it is everything that the Bear loves right now.
- Recommended age: 8 years to 12 years
- Running time: 9h 40m
For the Boy
For my fact loving Boy who – even after years of obsession – STILL loves dinosaurs, it couldn’t be anything other than BrainBots: Dinosaurs. In this installment of the BrainBots series, Nellie, Buzz and Gibbs try to find out as much as they can about dinosaurs and feed back all their information back to the BrainBank.
This collection includes: Tyrannosaurus rex, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Triceratops, Corythosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus and Paleontology.
- Recommended age: 6 years to 10 years
- Running time: 4h
For our Papa Bear
Alex isn’t one for audio books which is why the new Yoto music range has been so great. For him it couldn’t be anything other than the brilliant new releases of The Beatles Collection of music. Both The Beatles 1962 – 1966 and The Beatles 1967 – 1970.
Yes I know they are marketed as a great introduction of the Beatles for children, but if I am honest the hubby and I have loved these new cards so much. Allowing us to share the music we loved growing up to with our own children.
- Recommended age: everyone!
- Running time: 29m + 40m
And for me….
I can’t resist a classic and as a bookworm, it had to be back to audio books for me. More specifically The Classics Collection. Filled with well loved stories of adventure and friendship, I love these Yoto adaptations of timeless tales.
The collection includes: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Little Women, The Jungle Book, Treasure Island and A Little Princess.
- Recommended age: 8 years to 14 years (and beyond!)
- Running time: 10h
So, that’s the Yoto treats that will be hiding in our stockings this Christmas, waiting to take us on a Yoto audio adventure. And yes……I will most likely be wrapping my own!
DISCLOSURE: we were sent these items for the purposes of this post. However – as always – all thoughts and opinions are my own.
