Splash Out with Character Toys | AD
If you follow the blog, then you will know that we have been chosen as one of the Character Options ambassadors who have launched their Stay Active range. I love this campaign as they have identified a number of family inclusive toys which everyone can enjoy together both indoors or outside.
What I’ve really loved about the Stay Active range so far is that not only are they great for both indoor and outdoor fun, but they have so many other amazing benefits too. Think increasing wellbeing, improving movement, balance, coordination and reaction time as well as improving social skills, self-esteem and confidence. Sounds great doesn’t it? I thought so too!
WHAT IS SPLASH OUT?
Splash Out is such a simple concept but so much fun. Fill the balloon with water, place inside the ball and then set the timer. The game then begins! Throw and catch the ball between you and wait until the balloon pops. Who will get caught out and very vey wet!
Want to bring the fun indoors? Then that’s not a problem as just swap the water for air or even just forgo the balloon altogether and just play the game to beat the clock.
Each pack contains the Splash Out ball and `10 water balloons.
WHAT WE THOUGHT
My two loved the count down nature to this game and were squealing with delight as they launched it between themselves. It really is a simple concept but one the kids had a lot of fun playing with.
I will say that the ball is pretty hard though, so as the clock started to count down and the kids were getting a little overexcited, the game seemed to quickly turn to dodgeball! It was still a lot of fun though and Henry especially enjoyed it.
I loved how adaptable Splash Out is though, using air filled balloons for indoor play and water for outdoors. This is a great back garden toy and one we will have lots of fun with once it gets a little warmer to be able to get wet!
Splash Out is out now and is available at Smyths Toys.
