Welcoming Scruff-a-Luvs to the family

Now I’ll be up front as say this is a review with a little bit of a difference as the Bear has had Scruff-a-Luvs at the top of her birthday list for months. With her birthday just a few weeks away, I don’t want to ruin the surprise so I’m giving you all a little advance peek inside. But….sssshhhhhh……don’t tell the Bear.
WHAT ARE SCRUFF-A-LUVS?
This is a toy that comes with a story. A mummy has been looking for a home for her and her babies. The question is though, how many babies is she hiding? When you wash your Scruff-a-Luv you reveal whether she is hiding twins or rare triplets. Giving them a safe loving home and warming their hearts will show whether the babies are boys or girls.
It’s an adorable message isn’t it? It’s one that Scruff-a-Luvs takes seriously though, as for every Scruff-a-Luvs Family adopted, Scruff-a-Luvs donates part of the proceeds to the RSPCA to help real animals find their ‘furever’ homes.
The process is a simple one. Rescue, wash, dry, groom your Scruff-a-Luv and on the way you reveal 10 surprises. This includes an adoption certificate with a special ‘peel to reveal’ birthday as well as accessories to help you look your new Scruff-a-Luv family. For us that included a brush, a collar, sticker sheet, some outfits for the babies and a bottle. Everything a growing Scruff-a-Luv family needs.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
I really love the concept and message behind this toy. Bringing an animal into your home and by gently giving it love and warmth, they will reveal their most precious gift to you. As mother I love the idea of caring for something and add in the fact that by purchasing you are in turn donating the RSPCA, and I’m sold.
As for our Scuff-a-Luv family? Well, you’ll need to come back in a few weeks for the final reveal. In the meantime though, let’s just say they look undeniably cute and ready for a bath. Oh, and there’s definitely at least 2 in there!!
